3D Snowflakes
So I was working in PEDS the other day and there were these awesome paper snowflakes someone had made and one of the nurses really wanted one so I found out how to make them. 6 snowflakes later she was finally satisfied that she had enough
to decorate her house. I made a giant one for my house to hang from my loft with 12x12 pieces of paper which was too big and heavy and you have to tape a lot more piece together and use extra support string to hold it up or it ends up sagging on itself. The perfect size is 8x8 squares. So for everyone that wants to make some for your house here are the directions: Make a 3D Paper Snowflake! Enjoy!
These are mine - made with 8x8 paper - tried it with 4x4 squares - harder to put them together - got a little crazy and made one with 12x12 squares - each point was so heavy I had to add string and extra tape for them to stand up - 8x8 is defiantly the best.
My New Blog
So I've decided to create a blog to share all the fun and creative ideas I find and make. Scott says I should have my own magazine but since I'm not quite to par with Martha and Oprah I'll start here! Enjoy!!
